Genre director and writer Tobe Hooper celebrates his 69th birthday today.
He recently added author to his credentials and his next proposed film Djinn
is said to deal with the paranormal, keeping him in familiar (and welcome) territory.

Sharon of course would abruptly lose her life in August '69 during the Manson murders,
just two weeks before expecting the birth of her very first child. A truly tragic loss.

She's maintained a very active career in both television and film and
in my own personal estimation is just one of the most gorgeous
women to ever grace a small or large screen. She turns 38 today.

Pazuzu's Playmate
Linda Blair will always be remembered for her role as Regan in
William Friedkin's The Exorcist. The young actress would go on to feature in other
roles, but eventually ran into drug troubles in the late 70s which relegated her
to primarily low budget and exploitation films in a career that still continues.
She turns 53 today.
