Happy Birthday, Mr. Ed

"I like this place, everybody treats me nice, some of them are a little crazy though."
- The Butcher of Plainfield, speaking about prison

This day in 1906 infamous serial killer Edward Theodore Gein was born
in La Crosse, Wisconsin.  His notorious crimes have had a lasting impact on pop
culture as evidenced by countless references in films, music and literature.
He would be incarcerated in a mental hospital until his death in 1984.
