Promotional newspaper ad for the 'shockumentary'
Satanis: The Devil's Mass (1970)
which luridly profiled Anton LaVey's Church Of Satan.
Considering how misunderstood LaVey's doctrine and establishment
were, it's interesting to note how he nearly undermines his own theology here
by focusing on the more sensational aspects of his beliefs when given the soapbox.
No more informative than it is entertaining and often unintentionally laughable.
(LaVey provides the jarring score, too)
